Dr. Katherine Nguyen is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. She completed her residency program in internal medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology at UCSD Medical Center. She was awarded the Physician Scientist Development Award by the American College of Rheumatology and the Arthritis Foundation for her research in gene therapy. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She is currently an assistant clinical professor at UCSD School of Medicine, voluntary. She has been chosen by her peers as one of San Diego’s Physicians of Exceptional Excellence in the field of Rheumatology every year for the past 5 years.
